Kevin Keqing Liu
Managing Partner & Chief Capital Architect
Kevin is a veteran financial executive with over 30 years of cross-border banking and capital markets experience. He was one of the SPAC "early birds" in Asia where no SPAC concept existed until 2021 — he launched in 2018 a SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company) that raised US$115 million in its IPO and traded on Nasdaq, and served as its Board member and CFO. He has a proven track record of institutional leadership and global asset management. During his tenure at China Merchants Bank (CMB, currently ranked 9th globally by London-based The Banker magazine) headquarters' International Department, he led his team in establishing partnerships with over 600 leading and mid-tier global financial institutions and managing a US$1 billion+ globally allocated investment portfolio. He also represented CMB at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) annual meetings. Designated by CMB as Senior Economist, he is a widely published financial thinker with insights featured across Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Germany, and Singapore.
